THE 28TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM "DELTAS AND WETLANDS" 2021

Within this event, 3D initiative was launched!!! Dear friends, we are happy to invite you once again to our annual symposium that has been pending for over an year now. This year’s Deltas and Wetlands, that celebrates also our institution’s jubilee of research and development activities, has been rescheduled for 13th of September 2021. So please take a moment to read all the available info and register for this long waited event. We are eagerly waiting to welcome you once again in Tulcea, stay safe, stay healthy!

3D Participation at COP 27 in 2022

General Director Dr. Biol. Marian Tudor and Scientific Director Dr. Eng. Iulian Nichersu are participating these days at COP 27 (the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC – Egypt), through the 3D Initiative (Decarbonation of the Danube Delta), within the EDAPHIC-BLOOM Danube project, financed by the EUKI program.
DDNI Tulcea participates at COP 27 in the stand of SC Geostud SRL Bucharest, one of the members of the 3D Initiative, in the Innovation Zone.

The 29th International Symposium “Deltas and Wetlands” 2022

It is our great honour to invite you to the 29th edition of the International Symposium “Deltas and Wetlands” 2022, which will be held in Tulcea, Romania, between June 01 – 05, 2021. We would like this event to be an absolutely memorable one, that offers to participants a meeting place where experience and knowledge can be shared and exchanged, whether they are researchers, private companies or government institutions.  The event will take place in compliance with the legal provisions regarding the pandemic.

Details regarding the participation of DDNI (EDAPHIC-BLOOM Danube project – 3D Initiative) at the 44th IAD Conference (https://www.oen-iad.org/congress2023/ ), with the theme: “Scientific cooperation in the Danube river basin: Addressing the present and future environmental challenges of a European river landscape” – presentations by Dr. Iulian Nichersu and MSc. Isabell Becker (KIT Germany).
